# Embedding Maps on your website

You need to [publish your map](/sharing-your-map/publishing-your-map.md) first. The **Embed the map on your website** section appears only after the map is published.

Click on the **Publish map** icon on the navigation bar on the left.

Click on **Copy Code** under **'Embed the map on your website'** to copy the entire code. You may then paste it into your website editor.
